Aspen trees grow in clonal colonies, or genetically identical individuals, from a single ancestor. These trees were in the high mountains of Utah. I found that fascinating as I observed these trees. Thinking too, of family connections and family traits.....how we may not be identical but those traits are passed down through the roots of our familial trees. How many of use try to trace our family roots?
